General Description
eValid analyzes each element on a Web page and will pinpoint to the components of the page that are slow loading. Those elements need to be changed to improve performance.
See Page Tuning Test
Example
Internal Timers
eValid has automatic and programmable internal timers,
all with 1.0 msec (1.0 millisecond) resolution.
The timers can be applied within page processing, on a page by
page basis, and for groups of eValid commands that involve complex
interactions. See
Visual Performance Test Example
Page Component Download Timer
The eValid download timer measures the time each component of a page takes to
arrive at the browser, plus the time the browser takes to fully render the page.
Automatically generated "stack charts" show the details in an easy-to-use format.
See Page Tuning Process
Synchronization
eValid's synchronization is complete and automatic.
Timings reflect complete page download times, including all referenced files and
all images.
Cache Control
To assure the most accurate results during timing experiments eValid gives
the user control over the internal cache.
You can run with no cache, or by deleting the cache contents before playback.
You can also choose to run with or without cookies preserved.
