Overview
This very simple example shows an eValid test of varying types of text intake fields that is supported by the www.JQueryMobile.com framework.

This example demonstrates that JQueryMobile objects do exist without JavaScript errors as detailed in JQueryMobile JavaScript Error Explanation and thus can be tested reliably using eValid methods.

Test Description
The sequence of steps in this example are as follows:

1. Start recording
2. Navigate to demos.jquerymobile.com/1.4.2/forms-gallery/.
3. Type in "hello"
4. Type in "puppies"
5. Type in "what is going on testing"
6. Select Native Select: "One"
7. Select Multiple Select: "Three"
8. Select Enter
9. Stop recording

  Here is the recorded script, based on the test plan given above..

  

• Test Page as Viewed in the IE Browser
  This layout differs slightly from the view produced by eValid, using the same rendering engine.

  

• Test Page At Start Of Recording in eValid Browser
  This layout differs slightly from the view produced by IE browser; we believe this difference is due to slight version variations in the constituent eValid browser libraries.

  Functionally, however, the page behaves the same as the IE version.

  

• Test Page At End of Test Playback
  After playback of the test (from the above script) this is how the test page appears. The fields have been filled in from the eValid script.

  

• Green Screen Showing Test Completion
  The green screen shows that no negative messages of any kind were detected during playback.
