This page outlines the procedure in eValid to make a recording that reliably plays back a standard Windows "File Download" model dialog.

Explanation
For example, from Adobe we can download a copy of the Adobe Reader.

• Step 1: Go to the designated Download website...

  

• Step 2: Select the appropriate version of Windows...

  

• Step 3: Click on the corresponding "download" button...

  

• Step 4: Await the File Download - Security Warning Modal Window and click the "Save" button...
  Note: edit in extrinsic ModalDialog* commands, please see script for details on the next 4 actions.

  

• Step 5: "Save As" to the available browsing designation(s) found within the following Modal Window...

  

• Step 6: Await transferring status modal window to signal completion...

  

• Step 7: Upon "Download Complete", you proceed to "Close" the Modal Window...
  Note: You can apply Record > Validate > & Synchronize > Screen Rectangle to signal necessary wait times...

  

• Step 8: Upon successful download a corresponding Thank you page displays...
