Introduction

The Security Test establishes whether a legal login succeeds or an illegal login fails.

Recording The Test

Start Recording Begin by picking a start page for your test. Click Record > Start Recording.
For this example we will use Yahoo.com's email WebSite located at http://mail.yahoo.com. We have created a dummy account so this test will be valid.

First, login incorrectly. Validate some text or image on the failed login page.

Select TextYou can validate text by first highlighting the text that you wish to validate...

Validate Selected Text...and then select Record > Validate > Selected > Text, or validate an image by first highlighting the image that you wish to validate and then select Record > Validate > Selected > Image.

Return to the login page and make a successful login. Again, validate some text or image on the successful confirmation page using the methods described above.

Stop RecordingWhen you are finished, click Record > Stop Recording.

Security Script File The completed script file is shown here.
