E-Commerce Test Example

[Back to Summary of Practical Applications]

Introduction

eValid can effectively test your e-commerce website by recording and playing back an interactive browsing session, including filling out a form.

Simulating a customer is the best way to test an e-commerce site. This kind of test can be set to represent hundreds to thousands of customers coming to your website and making a purchase with multiple selections and using forms. The test used in the following example used an invalid credit card number and failed.

NOTE: The World Wide Web is in a constant state of change. Therefore, tests may become invalid at a moment's notice. Although the eValid Support Team may make considerable efforts to ensure the validity of the test shown, your results may vary. This test is used to demonstrate eValid's many validation functions and can be used as a guide to develop your own eValid tests. We encourage you to Download eValid and try it for yourself!
