Introduction

The Critical Path test validates links that are critical to the function of your WebSite.

Recording The Test

Select Record > Start Recording to begin recording the test.

Go to the page that contains the critical link and click on the link.

Select Record > Validate > Document > URL to validate the URL. Validate URL will verify that the page has not been redirected to another location.

Next, validate some text or image on the page for validation by selecting Record > Validate > Selected > Text or Record > Validate > Selected > Image. Validating Text or Images will verify that the page has not been changed since the script was recorded.

Select Record > Stop Recording to conclude the recording session.
