The BenchMark Test establishes the amount of time a sequence of browser actions takes.
Pick a start page for your test and click Record > Start Recording.
For this example we will use Hewlett Packard's webpage located at http:// www.hp.com.Navigate the site as you would normally. Your actions will be recorded in the script.
When you are finished, click Record > Stop Recording.A typical completed script file is shown here.
Download benchmark.evs
To benchmark the site recorded in the script, play back the Benchmark Script File several times. This will make sure the results of a Benchmark Test are meaningful. To enable the Multiple Playback option, begin by clicking Settings > Record/Play Preferences to enter the Preferences Window.
Enter the amout of times you would like to run the playback in the Multiple Playbacks 'n' value box and make sure Append to Logs is checked.
Click on Playback > Control Playback > Run Multiple to playback your recorded script 'n' times as set previously in the Multiple Playbacks 'n' Value box.
When the multiple playbacks have completed, open the Timing Log by clicking Window > Logs > Timing Log.
When you are finished viewing the Timing Log you can easily view the information in graphical format by viewing the History Chart. To view the History Chart you can either select the View Graphs button at the bottom of the Timing Log, or if you have closed the timing log, select Window > Graphs > Log Graphs.
This will bring up the eValid Dynamic Analysis Charts and Descriptions page.
